Turn off Telephony for example and you now don't have any internet connection, even though the name would imply telephone connection and you have DSL. That being said I advise you not to screw around in the Services too much as many services rely on other services and you can screw up your computer. It wouldn't take much to change it back but you have to do it (or use a system restore point). If it's set to disabled then this is likely the problem. Startup Type should be Automatic, but you can change it to Automatic (Delayed Start) which should delay it's starting until your CPU has reached a certain state of unuse, or Manual which would turn on the service when another program tries to use it, like PSP. When the dialog comes up you can scroll down to Protexis Licensing V2 (or the service you want to adjust), right click and click Properties. Walkerstoo, how are you restarting the service? You can go into Windows Services protocol by holding the Windows key and pressing R, then putting Services.MSC into the run box (not case sensitive). Basically it's a small service that verifies your software is paid for and is an anti-piracy measure. Both are active and working side by side with no problems. Protexis is what PSP X uses and v2 is for PSP X3. In my system they are both related to Corel products, but Protexis isn't Corel specific.
